We Are Your National Association of Community Professionals

Our Story

What began as a simple, yet important effort to educate new, small, and struggling nonprofit organizations in California, blossomed into a consulting firm offering a full range of education and customized services focused on the business-side of starting, operating, and even dissolving nonprofit organizations.

Non Profit Learning Institute (NPLI) opened its doors to the the local Sacramento, California community with education and training dedicated to both new and seasoned professionals within the nonprofit sector. 

Non Profit Learning Institute (NPLI) combined our extensive educational offerings with customized consulting services, including grant & proposal writing, marketing, program development, staff development, and more.

Non Profit Learning Institute evolved and became NPLI Management Solutions, Inc.  Our consulting services were in top demand which led to a call for the creation of more educational tools, business templates, certifications and other leadership resources. 

To insure nonprofit success, NPLI began to hyper focus our consulting services with regard to Federal and state compliance exclusively.


After many years of successful nonprofit formation, compliance and consultation, we are constantly reminded of the ever increasing need for recognition of the community professionals we serve.  After much thought and consideration, our team determined that what was needed was a national effort which granted access to the many nonprofit business tools, resources, education, and guidance we've developed for our clients over the past years. And, we knew this effort would need to do more than just provide information.  It needed to provide a pathway for career growth and development, and nonprofit operational success.
